Many in Northeast Tarrant County know me from my political and civic involvement. These individuals can vouch for my character and passion for the responsibilities and challenges I have undertaken. I am honored to seek the Republican nomination for State Representative District 91. I believe Northeast Tarrant County deserves qualified leaders who will give a responsive ear to citizens’ concerns and will act within a framework of conservative principles to address to them.
My political, business and financial experience prepared me for this position and the encouragement of local and civic leaders provided additional motivation for me to aggressively pursue state office.
As a businessman who has spent many years streamlining processes in the private sector, I have been campaigning on the need for a more efficient and effective government. When provided the opportunity by voters, I will work with my colleagues in the Legislature to enhance the manner we handle taxpayer dollars, including the principles outlined in Governor Perry's Texas Budget Compact.
I pledge to be a be an active, responsive and dependable voice in Austin. You can count on me to be an ardent steward of taxpayer resources, a defender of local control, a protector of the unborn and to seek conservative solutions for relevant fiscal and social issues with vigor and commitment.
